How to add your Blogger Blog to Google Webmaster Tool

Google Search Console is a must-have tool for all site owners as it gives you an incredible amount of information about how your site is doing in search. We strongly advise you to connect your website to Google Search Console to fully benefit from all the insights.

Time needed: 5 minutes.

First off you must have a Google account in order to connect your site to Google Webmaster Tools. If not, sign up. 

As soon as you’ve done this, you can track how Google is indexing your website.

  1. Go To Google Search Console

    Go to Google Search Console (former Google Webmaster Tools), sign into your Google account and click the red button to add your website.Google webmaster step 1

  2. Type URL

    Once you’ve clicked the button to add your site, just type your website’s URL in the box. Click the blue button to continue.google webmaster step 2

  3. Copy The Code

    Get the code.You will want to use the HTML tag under the Alternative Method. Only copy the code that is in the parenthesis after content, as per the image below.google webmaster

  4. Open Blogger.com

    Open Blogger And Select Theme Tab.google webmaster step 4

  5. Click On Edit HTML

    After Clicking on Theme Option , Now You Have To click on Edit HTML Button.google webmaster step 5

  6. Paste The Code

    Paste Your Code Under <head> Tag.

  7. Save Your Theme.

    Now Click On The Save Theme Button .google webmaster step 7

  8. Go Back To Google Search Console

    Switch back to Google Webmaster Tools and click ‘Verify’

  9. Done

    Congratulations! You’ve connected your website to Google Webmaster Tools!
